Day 1: Houay Xay to Pak Beng • Meeting Point: o For guests crossing the border from Thailand, our tour guide will greet you at Houay Xay immigration at 7:30 AM. o If you are already in Houay Xay, we offer hotel pick-up between 9:00–9:30 AM. • Onboard Inclusions: o Traditional Lao lunch o Complimentary coffee, tea, drinking water, and hot water o Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase. • Cultural Stop (Approx. 2:00 PM): Visit a local hill tribe village to observe daily life, traditional homes, and a community school. • Arrival in Pak Beng: Around 4:30 – 5:00 PM, you'll arrive in the charming riverside town of Pak Beng. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Day 2: Pak Beng to Luang Prabang • Departure Time: Depart from Pak Beng pier at 8:00 AM for a scenic downstream cruise. Your guide will welcome you onboard. • Scenic Highlights: Enjoy views of lush green mountains, wildlife, and seasonal river life along the Mekong. • Onboard Lunch: Freshly prepared Lao lunch served at 12:00 PM. • Cultural Stops: o Ban Bo Village (Approx. 2:00 PM): Home of the Lao Loum tribe, known for handicrafts and traditional Lao whisky (lao-lao) making. o Pak Ou Caves (Approx. 3:00 PM): Explore the sacred Tham Ting Caves, housing over 4,000 Buddha statues, a spiritual site especially visited during Lao New Year (Pimai Lao). • Arrival in Luang Prabang: Disembark at around 4:30 – 5:00 PM.
