Terms & Conditions

BANANA TRAVEL

 

By booking any tour, cruise, or service with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

 

1. Booking & Confirmation

• Bookings may be made online, in person, or through our authorized agents.
• A deposit or full payment is required to confirm your reservation.
• Bookings are considered confirmed only after written acknowledgment from our team.
• Full payment must be received before the tour or cruise begins (typically 7 days prior, unless otherwise arranged).

 

 

2. Prices & Payment

• All prices are quoted in EUR, USD, LAK, or THB and are subject to change without prior notice due to exchange rate fluctuations or changes in government taxes.
• Payments may be made by bank transfer, credit card, cash, or other methods as agreed.
• Full payment is required prior to the start of your tour.

 

 

3. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or official message.
• Cancellation charges apply as follows:
• 15 days or more before departure: Full refund (minus administrative or transaction fees)
• 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund
• Less than 7 days or no-show: No refund
• No refunds will be given for unused services or changes requested during the tour.

 

 

4. Changes & Modifications

• We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary due to weather conditions, road closures, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• In the rare event that we cancel a service, a full refund or an alternative tour of equal value will be offered.

 

 

5. Travel Insurance

• We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering health, accidents, theft, loss, cancellations, and natural disasters.
• BANANA TRAVEL is not responsible for medical expenses, lost items, or interruptions not caused directly by us.

 

 

6. Responsibility & Liability

• We act as an agent for transport, accommodation, and third-party service providers. We are not liable for any delays, losses, injuries, or damages caused by these third parties.
• While we strive to ensure safety and comfort, all travel is at the participant's own risk.
• Guests are expected to obey local laws and follow the guidance of our staff and tour leaders.

 

 

7. Health & Safety

• Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, food allergies, or physical limitations.
• Some tours may involve walking, hiking, or boating. Ensure you are physically prepared before participating.
• We reserve the right to refuse participation if safety is a concern.

 

 

8. Visas & Travel Documents

• It is your responsibility to ensure your passport, visa, and other required documents are valid for entry into Laos and participation in the tour.

 

 

9. Conduct & Behavior

• We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour without refund if their behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe.
• Guests must respect local culture, nature, and community values.

 

 

10. Force Majeure

• We are not responsible for cancellations or changes due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, strikes, or transportation disruptions.
• In such cases, we will do our best to provide an alternative solution.

 

 

11. Privacy & Data

• Your personal information is handled with care and used only for booking and communication purposes.
• We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.

 

 

12. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
• Any disputes shall be resolved amicably or through the appropriate courts in Laos.
